Trellix telah menerbitkan studi baru tentang iklan pekerjaan palsu.

Trellix telah mencatat bahwa dalam beberapa bulan terakhir, iklan pekerjaan palsu di platform populer seperti LinkedIn, Memang, dan Monster telah menipu semakin banyak pencari kerja.

Ditemukan bahwa taktik yang paling umum digunakan oleh penjahat dunia maya untuk melakukan penipuan jenis ini adalah

- Situs penipuan

o Penjahat dunia maya membuat domain web yang terlihat seperti situs web resmi, tetapi dengan sedikit variasi, seperti kata yang salah eja atau ekstensi yang berbeda.

Contoh domain penipuan yang diamati oleh Trellix antara lain: memang-id.com, memang-7.com, memang-a.com, memang.ch, indedd.com, linkhedin.com, linkegin.com, linkednn.com

- Email phishing

o Email tersebut berbentuk pemberitahuan tawaran pekerjaan yang berisi URL atau lampiran, yang mengarahkan korban ke halaman phishing atau mengunduh malware ke sistem mereka.

- URL dan Malware Berbahaya

o Penjahat dunia maya menggunakan halaman web jahat yang dirancang untuk meniru formulir login papan pekerjaan, untuk mengelabui pengguna agar memberikan informasi pribadi mereka. Selain itu, beberapa keluarga perangkat lunak penipuan telah diidentifikasi.

Oleh karena itu, keamanan data pribadi pengguna pada platform pencarian kerja online sangat terancam karena jenis penipuan ini terus berkembang, dengan skema baru bermunculan secara teratur.
